Abstract
The work addresses the conceptual articulation between feminist philosophy of language, feminist epistemology and discourse analysis. The need to build a feminist philosophy of language is raised from the contributions of discourse analysis and feminist epistemologies, focusing on issues such as sexism in language. It questions what the philosophy of language would have been like if it had been led by women, and the importance of including the female perspective in the production of knowledge is highlighted. It is pointed out that language is part of society and that linguistic and social phenomena are interconnected. In short, the importance of a solid and methodologically interdisciplinary feminist philosophy of language is highlighted to make visible and transform exclusive discursive practices.
